Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress to Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received an Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for the year 2017. He released his debut long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. It reached the number 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums chart. In the following year, he was a part of Ozuna to record their Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He worked alongside Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and next year, released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. In 2021, he also performed an duet with TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. In 2023, he appeared on 2000, which featured the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, since both his mom and younger brother are musicians. According to him, musicality was a fundamental part of his life. When he was a kid he played the ukulele guitar as well as piano. While his initial career goal was to be veterinarian, his brother Julian convinced him to try studying singing with the Cuban.
